Simms Corp was formed in 1990 by Peter Simms, a property valuer with more than 20 years’ experience in commercial and residential property, specialising in hotel and leisure sales & valuations. The company is based in Melbourne, and employs more than 100 staff.
Simms Corp Management
Simms Corp Management operates the Management Rights businesses of holiday and lifestyle villages in Dromana, Echuca, Somers, Lakes Entrance, Mildura and Batemans Bay.
The conduct of a Management Rights business is based on two things.
1. Ownership of a lot in the property from which the Management Rights business is operated.
2. An agreement between the managers of the business and the owners of the lots where the managers conducting the letting business is appointed to act as a letting agent for the individual lot owners.
Company Operations
Simms Corp has secured seven businesses (including Freehold) in strong tourist and residential locations.
Each holiday and lifestyle village has a mixture of long-term permanent and short-term holiday lettings. Each property is located in holiday destinations.
Simms Corp engages builders to supply/construct various styles of accommodation villas, units or cabins on sites for display purposes. These sites are packaged together with the land, some with guaranteed returns, and others to occupy the units periodically and receive a rental return when not occupied by the owners.

The company has selected a balanced portfolio of long- and short-term holiday and residential management operations to expand its business.
Simms Corp's view is to be diverse by having varied degrees of income-producing avenues. This will ensure the company's growth is sustained with less risk with more concentration of activities in holiday accommodation alone.
Simms Corp maintains a strong hotel and leisure division whereby it sources hotels, motels and caravan parks to broker to prospective purchasers. This revenue source combined with its strengths in the acquisition and management of Freehold and businesses of tourist parks and hotels aims to establish Simms Corp as a leader in the development of the Australian Service Industry.

Simms Corp seeks to establish a leading position by acquiring tourist parks, residential parks and tourist and corporate hotels in strong residential, regional and tourist destinations throughout Australia.
